This simple process of keeping butter fresh, but then with the added advantage of being able to keep the butter outside of the refigerator via a water tight seal leaves butter at a easily spreadable temperature.
The butter dish consists of three parts; the lower dish (contains the water), the upper container (which houses the butter) and the butter knife.
The Butter Dish seen here is finished in Ash wood, with a ebony wood knife.
